πAttendees
ONTON enables users to participate in events using familiar Telegram-native tools while benefiting from blockchain-based features like NFT and SBT ticketing.
Currently, the platform is integrated with Telegram through its Mini App and leverages TON as its primary infrastructure. In the future, ONTON aims to expand to web and mobile applications, supporting a broader range of environments and potentially becoming chain-agnostic.
Instant Access via Telegram
Users can access events directly through the ONTON Mini App or via links shared in Telegram groups, channels, or private messages. No external applications are required. Ticket claims, event entry, and participation tools are delivered within the Telegram chat interface that users already utilize.
NFT & SBT Ticketing
ONTON issues event tickets in the form of:
NFTs: Transferable tokens that may function as collectibles or access credentials.
SBTs (Soulbound Tokens): Non-transferable, wallet-bound tokens that serve as on-chain proof of participation.
All tickets are issued automatically and recorded on the TON blockchain, enabling attendees to maintain a verifiable record of their activity across events.
Real-Time Interaction
Participants engage through Telegram-native interfaces, including:
Submitting questions during AMAs or workshops
Participating in polls or mini-games
Responding to prompts or quizzes
Interacting with the host and other attendees
All engagement occurs in real time, within the same Telegram thread; no additional interface is required.
Reward Systems
ONTON tracks user activity during events, such as attendance, task completion, and active participation. Rewards are distributed in formats including:
ONTON points: Off-chain points for engagement tracking.
ONION tokens: Blockchain-based rewards distributed on-chain.
SBTs: Issued as non-transferable badges or credentials on-chain.
Some events may also include airdrops, giveaways, or exclusive invitations based on historical attendance.
Verifiable Identity & Reputation
Each participantβs engagement is tied to their TON wallet and Telegram account, generating a hybrid record of on-chain and off-chain activities.
Actions like attendance and task completion are logged off-chain for speed, while ticket minting, SBT issuance, and ONION rewards are executed on-chain.
This setup maintains provable, composable identity and reputation within the ONTON ecosystem, soon to be expanded to multi-chain environments.
Post-Event Experience
After an event, participants can:
View rewards and credentials in their wallet
Receive follow-up messages or announcements
Access pinned messages and shared content
Each step creates a permissionless and traceable record, supporting long-term participation and engagement across ONTON and the broader TON ecosystem.
